Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members to assist customers, stock shelves, and manage checkout transactions in a fast-paced store environment in Mooresville, NC. You will help shoppers locate products, answer questions, and promote our Rewards program and credit options.

The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, and participation in truck unloading, merchandising, and in-store processes to keep the store well stocked and inviting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock appearance; complete merchandise returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; model positive behavior for customers and team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
