Job summary

Michaels Stores in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a team member to help customers find products, deliver friendly service, and process checkout efficiently. You will support truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to keep shelves in stock and the store presentable.

This role involves engaging customers with rewards programs, assisting with BOPIS/SFS, and upholding SOPs, safety, and company policies. Retail experience preferred and 16+ years old required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise go-back processes to ensure in-stock shelves.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and policies.
• Interact with customers and colleagues professionally; cross-trained in framing-related tasks.
