Job summary

Michaels is hiring at our Grand Rapids Walker store for a store team member focused on delivering friendly customer service and supporting merchandise flow. You will help customers find products, process transactions efficiently, and participate in store replenishment to keep shelves in stock.

The role involves engaging customers with rewards enrollment, assisting omni-channel order fulfillment, and upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to ensure in-stock condition
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and preserve a positive image as a store role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
