Job summary

The Michaels Companies store in Machesney Park, IL is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers with shopping, checkout, and product solutions. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

You will engage customers in rewards programs, explain VOC surveys, and support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop our store.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes to keep store in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; explain VOC survey.
• Support omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in store recovery, SISO and AD set duties; support safety programs and SOP adherence.
