Michaels is hiring at the Akron-Fairlawn store to deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products. Associates execute fast checkouts, stock merchandise, and support omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to SOPs, and a positive, respectful store presence, with opportunities to cross-train in Custom Framing and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash transactions
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Support truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain in-stock store through merchandise recovery and go-back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers in a positive, respectful manner; be a role model
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
