Job summary

Michaels has a store role in Silverdale, WA seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to help shoppers and ensure fast checkout. You will assist with store recovery, stocking, and merchandising to keep the store well-presented.

You will also support omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS), truck unloading, and SOP adherence while maintaining a positive team environment. Retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Cash handling to standards and friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain stock and store recovery; complete returns/go backs.
• Perform in-stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with customers and stay positive and respectful.
