Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Abington, PA is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will help customers locate products, participate in omni-channel processes, and maintain a well-stocked store.

Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, you’ll support store recovery, planograms, and safety programs while upholding brand promises and positive customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
