Job summary

Michaels Lexington Park, MD is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role involves promoting the Rewards program, assisting with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, following SOPs, and supporting safety and shrink programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; complete go-back/return processes.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with others in a positive, respectful manner; be a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
