Job summary

Michaels Stores in Pasadena, CA is seeking an in-store associate to deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store. You will ensure a fast checkout, assist with BOPIS/SFS, restock, and keep the store well-merchandised.

Responsibilities include helping customers locate products, enrolling shoppers in the rewards program, and supporting store recovery and safety programs. Must be at least 16 years old; benefits and overtime eligibility apply where allowed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock levels, and merchandise returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and Company policies.
• Interact respectfully with others and model Michaels values.
