Job summary

Paws Up Montana is seeking to add Servers to our team at our luxury resort in Greenough, MT. The Server acts as the primary guest contact, coordinating with back-of-house and ensuring the flow of service with hospitality at the highest standard.

Starting wage is $20 per hour with room to grow based on experience. This seasonal role offers opportunities for development, benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a server, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting.
• Knowledge of world class hospitality and service.
• Valid Food Handler’s License.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Proficient ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and professional demeanor under periods of high demands and with guests, team members, and management.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve orders.
• Enter guest orders using resort POS systems.
• Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table.
• Prepare tables with attention to sanitation and presentation.
• Attend to guests upon entrance.
• Present menus and help guests select food/beverages.
• Answer questions pertaining to the Restaurant menus.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, allergens, and alternatives; communicate restrictions to team.
• Collaborate with server assistants to ensure guest needs are met.
• Check food before serving to ensure appearance and temperature are correct.
• Converse with guests to fulfill special requests as instructed by management.
• Maintain confidentiality of guests.
• Assist with guest service issues and communicate with Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain awareness of Resort information and amenities.
• Work with team to deliver guests expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and workstation.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Maintain table settings and service throughout the meal.
• Present check in a timely manner.
• Follow all company safety policies.
