The Resort at Paws Up in Greenough, MT seeks a Server Assistant to greet, guide and deliver a world-class dining experience. You will assist with service steps, beverage service, food running, and related duties as needed, while maintaining a clean, organized dining area.

The position starts at $18 an hour and progresses with experience; candidates should have hospitality knowledge and a professional demeanor in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related coursework.
• Preferably 6 months of food & beverage experience.
• Knowledge of world-class hospitality and service.
• Valid Food Handler’s License.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Proficient multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and professional demeanor under periods of high demands.

Responsibilities

• Greet, guide and deliver world class service while being the professional on the dining floor.
• Assist with the sequence of service and remain present yet unobtrusive.
• Prepare tables with sanitation and presentation in mind.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items, allergens, and specials; communicate dietary needs to staff.
• Check food before serving for appearance, temperature, order and portions.
• Converse with guests at a high level and fulfill special requests as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality of guests throughout their stay.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and workstation.
• Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
