Job summary

SSA Group is seeking a Prep Cook to support our kitchen operations in a dynamic environment. You will assist with ingredient prep, maintain cleanliness, and help manage supplies while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and proper food handling.

Ideal candidates have kitchen experience, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. SSA Group values inclusivity and high standards in guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen and food handling preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Patient with the ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of ingredients, including washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies.
• Assist in inventory management and storage of supplies.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
