Job summary

SSA Group seeks a Food Service Cook to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with restaurant prep (BOH and line) and ensure food quantities, safety, and quality standards are met, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The role requires 1–2 years in food preparation, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Daily duties include safety practices and guest service support in SSA’s hospitality-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have 1–2 years of food preparation experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to work varied hours including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and to lift boxes (10-35lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assist with restaurant prep (BOH and line) for daily operations.
• Meet daily quickservice, safety, quality, and guest service standards.
• Ensure proper food quantities for daily and ongoing service.
• Participate in safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste.
• Maintain safe food handling and hygiene practices.
• Keep work area clean, safe and organized; follow SSA policies.
