SUMMARY
Provides service and assistance to members, hotel guests and guests around the pool area. Monitors and corrects any deficiency found in and around the pool, including pool rules. Serves food and beverage to patrons in the pool area and consistently provides professional, attentive, genuinely friendly service to patrons.

The Pool Service Attendant has a great impact on how pool guests and patrons perceive their pool-side experience. A genuinely friendly, attentive, knowledgeable attendant can help ensure that the guest is satisfied with his/her pool experience and is eager to return.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The education and/or experience needed include a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) (unless attending high school); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must have the ability to communicate fluently in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have and maintain a current Food Handlers Card.

SCHEDULING
This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Shifts will generally be rotated, as much as possible to be fair to everyone. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand. In addition, it should be understood that business needs determine the number of hours that you work.
