Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a dedicated team member to supervise winter maintenance operations, maintain contracted assets, and oversee safety standards on site in Canada. You will organize daily work, coordinate equipment and labor, and train junior staff while ensuring compliance with policies and contractors’ agreements.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in construction/maintenance, and a valid Ontario G class driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in construction, road maintenance, or related outdoor work.
• Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s License and MTO Operator’s Permit with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift supervisor duties during the winter maintenance season.
• Assist in organizing and planning daily/weekly work with equipment, materials, and labor.
• Oversee work operations to ensure value for money and adherence to safety standards.
• Provide leadership and training to junior Webber staff on safety and procedures.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance and report performance to supervisor.
• Advise on work performance, training, planning and traffic control at work sites.
• Complete records related to equipment operation, hours, and material usage.
