Job summary

Ferrovial Webber in Canada is seeking a winter-maintenance shift supervisor to maintain contracted assets and oversee safety and efficiency on roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, bridges and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities include organizing daily work, coordinating crews and equipment, maintaining records, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring compliance with safety standards and contract terms, including traffic control at work sites to minimize risk.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Required).
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industry repair, maintenance or landscaping (outdoor work).

Responsibilities

• Performing duties of shift supervisor during the winter maintenance season.
• Organizing work activities by arranging for appropriate equipment, material and labor.
• Overseeing work operations insuring value for money and safety compliance.
• Providing leadership and training to junior Webber staff, including safety guidance.
• Inspecting work performed by contract staff and advising on deficiencies and reporting to supervisor.
