Job summary

The Lane County Public Works Parks Division is seeking seasonal staff to join the Eugene-based Parks crew. Responsibilities include operating light equipment, mowing, weeding, cleaning bathrooms, hauling trash, and general park maintenance under supervision.

Selected candidates must have a valid Oregon driver's license and the ability to pass a background check. This position offers 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with up to 1,040 hours budgeted for the fiscal

Qualifications

• Experience operating light equipment or performing semi-skilled tasks.
• Ability to read and write at a level necessary for job performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate light equipment and perform manual park maintenance tasks.
• Mow, weed, clean bathrooms, haul trash, and assist with general upkeep of parks.
