Job summary

Michaels Baton Rouge store is hiring team members to deliver friendly, helpful service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. Team members participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, in-stock optimization, and store recovery to keep the shopping area inviting.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Engage customers and promote rewards programs and enrollments.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and housekeeping for a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
• Support in-store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
