Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal supervisor to lead workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will develop teams, set high standards for accuracy, customer service, and compliance, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

You will organize training, oversee performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Flexible shift availability up to 5 days a week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, pro-active communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement on all levels.
• Implements employee personal development plans as required to ensure continuing professional growth.
• Ensures all employees receive orientation, training, and regular evaluations; provides proactive coaching.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures.
