Job summary

Alterra’s Snowshoe properties seek an experienced restaurant leader to direct day-to-day operations at Hoots Bar & Grill and Raven Grille during peak seasons. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage staff and budgeting, and ensure high standards of service and safety in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include training supervisors, maintaining quality, and optimizing costs while maximizing profits. Housing, benefits, and seasonal work are offered in a dynamic mountain environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant operations and teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and cost-control abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs restaurant activities to achieve customer service, staff development and profit goals.
• Leads budget achievement and monitors cost/revenue performance with the leadership team.
• Engages guests, gathers feedback and responds promptly to inquiries.
• Analyzes methods to reduce costs and improve sales while maintaining standards.
• Monitors food/beverage quality and ensures resources meet business needs.
• Enforces sanitation, safety, dress code, cash handling and safety regulations.
• Oversees training for supervisors on leadership and POS usage.
• Manages hiring, training, evaluation, and performance of staff.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and teaches proper sanitation procedures.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
