Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Seasonal Line Cook at Schweitzer in Sandpoint, Idaho. The role focuses on breakfast and lunch prep in a fast-paced cafe, with an emphasis on quality, freshness, and safe food handling.

Prior line cook experience is preferred, and intermediate skiing or snowboarding is beneficial due to the back side location. Perks include resort pass, employee housing, childcare discounts, paid sick leave, 401(k) match, and access to pro deals.

Formación

• License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided)
• Technical - Cooking Skills/Basic kitchen skills. Able to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level.
• Physical Capabilities - Stand/walk up to 8 hours; lift up to 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally.
• Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.
• Education/Related Experience - English reading, writing and communication, basic math.
• Minimum 6 months Line Cook experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Execute all food preparation tasks, in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
• Efficiently cook and assemble breakfast and lunch items.
• Clean grill, broiler and hood system nightly; clean fryer and roaster when necessary.
• Maintain all product coolers; operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
• Assist with general kitchen duties including dishwashing and deliveries.
• Shovel snow; assist with Outback Inn tasks and restroom cleaning.
