Job summary

Ektello is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Coordinator in New York to support the merchandising team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will track seasonal product samples, maintain records, coordinate sample arrivals, and assist with product information documentation.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple tasks across several systems. Internship or recent graduates are welcome; prior experience in retail, fashion, or inventory is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and multiple computer systems.
• Strong recordkeeping, tracking, and data-entry skills.
• Previous experience in retail, fashion, merchandising, inventory, or administrative support is a plus.
• Internship experience and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Track and coordinate the timely receipt of product samples for each seasonal flow.
• Organize samples and maintain accurate records of receiving information.
• Communicate with the merchandising team regarding sample arrivals, delays, and updates.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with brand merchandising associates.
• Prepare product copy fact sheets using multiple internal systems.
• Provide administrative and project support to the broader team.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.
