The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage high-season demands while maintaining Palm House standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two years of restaurant supervisory or management experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or fine dining setting.
• Strong knowledge of dining room operations, luxury service standards, and guest relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A calm, professional approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails, with ability to guide on allergens and dietary requests.
• Experience with restaurant POS and reservation systems.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season November–April.

Aufgaben

• Lead restaurant service with a visible, approachable presence on the floor.
• Ensure service reflects Palm House luxury standards with presentation, timing, accuracy, and personalized guest interactions.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings on menu knowledge, reservations, guest preferences, occasions, and priorities.
• Coordinate seating, table assignments, and service flow with hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly with professional follow-through.
• Coach team members on service etiquette, menu knowledge, and beverage service.
• Support opening/closing procedures, side work, dining room readiness, and cleanliness.
• Assist with scheduling to maintain coverage during service.
• Monitor guest feedback and communicate improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, alcohol service, cash handling, and hotel policies.
• Foster a respectful, collaborative environment with accountability and pride in service.
