Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp locations. This on-site, live-in position demands a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week, with duties spanning daily culinary operations, staff leadership, budgeting, and allergen safety.

You will oversee kitchen operations, ensure scratch cooking quality, manage inventory and vendor relationships, and coordinate with campers and camp leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens knowledge required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
