Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will supervise daily culinary operations, staff scheduling and training, budgeting, and stringent allergen safety across a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position runs May through September as a seasonal contract. The role demands a readiness to work a minimum 6 days per week (~70 hours) and engage with campers, camp leadership, and the Wolfoods team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Administer allergen safety protocols and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods office.
