Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the LDRP unit on day shifts. This 0.9 FTE position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care under physician supervision and requires ADN with Kansas RN licensure, plus BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire.

Preferred BSN and ACLS/PALS may be considered, with opportunities to mentor staff, coordinate care plans, and educate families. The role supports hospital goals and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Kansas RN license (or compact state).
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients under physician direction.
• Mentors, develops and trains new staff and students.
• Maintains comprehensive care plans and documentation.
• Educates patient/family on care, medications and self-care.
• Ensures timely administration and evaluation of medications.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions and responds appropriately.
• Adheres to PHI privacy and security regulations.
