Job summary

Azul Hospitality seeks a Seasonal Dishwasher at Red Cliffs Lodge Moab, September through November. You will clean, sanitize, and organize china, glassware, silverware, and pots, and operate the hotel dishwashing equipment to maintain hygiene standards.

This role requires High school level education and prior hospitality experience. Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification is preferred. Ability to work varied shifts and lift up to 45 lbs is needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.
• Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification preferred.
• Knowledge of table and bar service.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Must possess basic computational ability.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, and pans.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machine and maintain hygiene.
• Ensure outlets have necessary items for opening; manage racks for dirty dishes.
• Attend to spills and safety procedures.
• Sanitize kitchens and food prep areas; clean ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, and floors.
• Remove and dispose bags from trash receptacles.
• Participate in deep cleaning of outlets.
• Report maintenance or hazard issues to supervisor.
• Assist service team to meet guest expectations.
• Other duties as assigned by managers.
