Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily culinary operations at rural summer camp facilities across the U.S. This on-site, live-in role demands high energy, top-level food safety, and a focus on scratch cooking.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure allergen safety, and coordinate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office. The schedule is demanding, with 6 days per week and ~70 hours, during the May–Sept season.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens knowledge required.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, menu specs, portion control, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
