Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a busy summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

This seasonal contract runs May through Sept with a six-day work week and a generous pay and bonus structure. Full room and board are provided, along with travel allowance and opportunities to lead a dynamic camp kitchen.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
