Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder in Saint Cloud, MN to support store leadership and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll train new team members, help reach sales targets, and ensure the store runs smoothly when the manager is away.

You’ll use your knowledge of music and pop culture to assist with merchandising, assist with opening/closing, and contribute to achieving key performance indicators while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and selling skills.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Ability to stand and walk for scheduled hours; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, using knowledge of products and fandom.
• Step in and support store leadership; help run the store when the manager is unavailable.
• Assist in achieving sales goals and driving KPIs like UPT and ADT.
• Maintain storefront visuals, assist with opening/closing, and manage floor coverage.
• Process sales at the register and promote add-on sales; report shortages or overages to the manager.
• Support planogram changes and merchandising setups.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Prevent theft by assisting with store security and policy adherence.
• Help keep stock rooms organized and the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed.
