Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a dedicated coordinator in Dallas to recruit, train, and supervise bell ringers across multiple locations. You will plan schedules, assign tasks, and ensure coverage meets location needs while upholding Salvation Army policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining records of hours, preparing reports on kettle activities, coordinating special events, recognizing volunteers, and assisting with counting and depositing kettle funds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with kettle fundraising programs preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects bell ringing staff and volunteers to ensure site coverage.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work; instructs staff in proper procedures; approves work for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Maintains contact with staff/volunteers and addresses questions or concerns.
• Maintains records and databases for daily kettle income and prepares related reports.
• Coordinates special events and prepares plaques/certificates of recognition.
• Drives Salvation Army vehicle to kettle locations and assists with funds counting and deposits.
