Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to support the Red Kettle Campaign. You will perform daily tasks to help run the program and recruit volunteers for bell ringing.

Responsibilities include scheduling volunteers, managing sign-ups, handling kettle money with volunteers, and coordinating deposits with the Field Rep. This role requires a valid driver's license and strong people skills.

Qualifications

• Education: N/A
• Certifications: Valid driver’s license with approval to drive from TSA’s insurance carrier required.
• Experience: Dealing with people in a customer service or sales role

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteer bell ringers and groups; set dates, times and locations.
• Contact volunteer bell ringers by phone or email to schedule ringing times.
• Manage campaign website for volunteer sign-ups.
• Sort kettle money with volunteers according to guidelines.
• Transfer money to bank for processing per guidelines.
• Drop off and pick up kettles.
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Create copies of checks and forward to Field Rep.
• Provide weekly deposits report to Field Rep.
• Call bell ringing sites in early November to arrange start dates.
