Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 1 year of experience with kettle fundraising preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selection of bell ringing staff and volunteers ensuring all sites are covered effectively.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work of staff and volunteers; ensures accuracy and compliance with Salvation Army policies.
• Maintains contact with staff and volunteers; answers questions, concerns or problems; recognises workers by mail, in person or by phone.
• Prepares and updates records for daily kettle income information; prepares reports on kettle status; documents hours worked.
• Plans, coordinates, and prepares special events; prepares plaques and certificates of recognition; maintains event records.
• Meets with community leaders and organizations to discuss Salvation Army needs.
• Drives Salvation Army vehicle(s) to deliver and collect kettles and supplies to kettle locations and workers.
• Assists with counting, recording and depositing of kettle funds.
