Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to support the Corps Officer during the kettle season. You will lead orientation for staff and volunteers, manage paperwork, and coordinate volunteers across multiple kettle locations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory management, driver routing, and handling deposits in line with TSA policies. This role requires strong organizational skills and reliable attendance, with potential additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years clerical experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct kettle orientation for employees and volunteers.
• Prepare paperwork for Seasonal Kettle employees.
• Enter information into kettle program with accuracy.
• Recruit and assign volunteers to kettle locations.
• Prepare daily kettle schedules to maximize net income.
• Inventory kettle equipment and report issues.
• Prepare schedules for Kettle Driver.
• Respond to complaints at kettle locations.
• Supervise, train and discipline employees as required.
• Prepare kettle income for deposit and make deposits per TSA policy.
• Arrange Angel Trees in stores.
• Assist with toy donation activities.
• Kettle Driver duties as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance.
