Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern CA Division in San Diego seeks a Kettle Coordinator (Temporary Full-Time) to support the kettle season. You will manage volunteer deployments, prepare schedules, handle deposits, and coordinate Angel Trees and toy donations in collaboration with store locations.

For this role, a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required; 1–2 years clerical experience is preferred. Toyota and other duties as assigned will be part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of clerical experience.
• Must be 21+ to drive for TSA.
• Valid Driver’s License; bilingual in corps location language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and assign volunteers and/or service clubs to various kettle locations.
• Prepare kettle schedules daily to maximize net income.
• Take inventory of kettle equipment and report/replace damaged items.
• Prepare kettle income for deposit and make bank deposits per TSA policy.
• Arrange Angel Trees to be set up in stores and assist toy donation activities.
