Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division in Winona County is seeking a Kettle Campaign Coordinator for the Red Kettle Campaign. This seasonal, temporary role supports onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day kettle operations at campaign sites.

The position is site-based, 25 hours per week, at $15 per hour, through December 2026. Responsibilities include timekeeping, route coordination, data entry, and ensuring equipment readiness while upholding The Salvation Army mission.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating employees, volunteers, schedules, or similar operations preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Salvation Army motor vehicle record requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage changing schedules and priorities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with employees, volunteers, donors, businesses, and the public.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn job-related systems.
• Dependable and professional, with good judgment and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard seasonal bell ringers and kettle drivers; provide orientation and training on responsibilities and procedures.
• Timekeeping and payroll support; maintain accurate records and submit on time.
• Schedule and coordinate daily activities; address scheduling conflicts and coverage needs.
• Coordinate kettle placements, pickups, and equipment movement; support locations and resolve issues.
• Enter data on kettle activity, staffing, and collections; assist with reports and tracking.
• Assist with kettle routes, deliveries, pickups, and staffing coverage as needed.
