Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support multiple stores within the district. You will assist in pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and provide immunizations where permissible.
You will travel across the district, support the Pharmacy Manager, and act as their proxy during bench shifts while maintaining patient safety and high-quality service across CVS Health locations.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
Responsibilities
- Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager and oversee operations in pharmacies within the district.
- Assist safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
- Serve as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts and cover gaps in scheduling.
- Provide immunizations and coach the pharmacy team to deliver holistic patient care.
- Assist in pharmacy inventory management with focus on cold chain protection and stock control.
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and CVS Health policies to ensure patient safety.
