Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) for part-time coverage across stores in the district. You will cover pharmacist shifts, support pharmacy operations, and ensure safe dispensing practices while delivering immunizations and patient care.

The role requires ability to travel, maintain licensing, and provide clinical care as permitted; low-volume weekend and evening coverage may apply. CVS Health offers great benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safeguarding patient safety.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Proactively offering and delivering immunizations and guiding technicians to assist.
• Managing pharmacy inventory with best practices, protecting cold chain products.
