Job summary

CVS Health operates within retail locations and seeks District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will assist the Pharmacy Manager and act as a proxy when needed, ensuring safe dispensing and compassionate patient care.

The DSP role includes traveling within the district, providing immunizations, helping resolve insurance issues, and maintaining compliance with laws and CVS Health policies while promoting patient safety and service

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts.
• Support management of the pharmacy and staff during shifts.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
