Job summary

The City of Denison is seeking a Seasonal Denison on Ice - Rink Manager to lead the ice rink operations and supervise staff during the Denison on Ice program. The role includes opening and closing the rink, managing scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Salary ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. The position requires strong financial reporting, compliance with policies, and the ability to work nights and weekends in a dynamic environment within Denison's Parks and Recreation

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma/GED.
• Must have driver's license.
• Must have driving record sufficient for coverage by City's auto liability carrier.
• Financial and cashier skills.
• Any combination of education and experience that results in acceptable proficiency levels in the above minimum qualifications and responsibilities.
• Requires effective written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Denison on Ice program operations.
• Provide leadership to rink associates and volunteers and coordinate scheduling.
• Enforce rink rules, safety, and compliance; manage emergencies.
• Oversee financial reporting, waivers, and ticket sales records.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure facility readiness and reliability.
• Report incidents, staff issues, and inventory needs to supervisors.
