City of Denison is seeking a Maintenance Worker for the Denison on Ice rink to perform routine upkeep, cleaning and resurfacing during and after hours. You will operate resurfacing equipment, address maintenance needs, and ensure safety procedures are followed in a fast-paced public facility.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to follow instructions, and a customer-friendly demeanor to engage with patrons and help create a positive experience at Denison on Ice.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical labor and operate maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ice before opening; resurface after hours.
• Operate ice resurfacing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize rink and surrounding areas.
• Maintain and repair equipment and supplies.
• Monitor refrigeration and report issues.
