Job summary

Glencoe Park District is seeking a part-time Seasonal Cashier to support the ice rink and front desk operations. Working under supervision, you will provide friendly service, process payments, and help maintain a clean, welcoming Weinberg Family Recreation Center environment.

The role runs November through March, averaging 10–25 hours per week, with pay starting at $15 per hour and a scale up to $20 per hour. Evening and weekend hours are expected; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• At least one year of cash register experience.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Check passes and/or collect money from patrons entering the Weinberg Family Recreation Center.
• Be familiar with all fees relative to the ice rink.
• Be responsible and accountable for all cash transactions during assigned shifts.
• Maintain a secure and organized admissions area at the desk area of the Weinberg Family Recreation Center.
• Handle all contacts with the public (patrons) pleasantly, courteously, and professionally.
