Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a courteous Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and maintain a smooth front-of-house flow in our Alabama restaurant. The Host will greet patrons, assist with wait lists, and coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating and attentive service.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, teamwork, and a positive dining experience. This is a part-time position with eligible benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer service and a passion for guest satisfaction.
• Willingness to learn, be a team player and follow procedures.
• Ability to memorize menu items and provide menu knowledge.
• Strong communication and courtesy when greeting guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them promptly and warmly.
• Maintain wait lists and communicate wait times to guests.
• Assist with seating and provide menus to guests and servers.
• Answer questions about the menu, restaurant, and Bass Pro Shops.
• Handle phones and reservations; assist with opening/closing tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and assist with side work.
• Thank guests on departure and ensure a positive experience.
