Job summary

The Lakehouse Resort is seeking a Seasonal Host for Brickmans at The Links, our main restaurant, during the holiday season. You will warmly welcome guests, manage seating, and ensure a smooth dining experience with seasonal cheer.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, knowing the menu, seating guests, updating floor charts, and assisting in other restaurant areas as needed. Prior restaurant experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth and flexible hours during peak season.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience is a plus.
• Energetic, positive attitude and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• High quality work unsupervised.
• Able to lift and maneuver trays of food.
• Able to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter and provide information and directions as needed.
• Possess a good knowledge of the menu, provide menus to guests and answer questions.
• Seat guests at tables or place them on a waitlist.
• Assign guests to tables while maintaining fair rotation; update floor chart during shift.
• Clean menus as required.
• Keep front door area and waiting lobby clean inside and out.
• Keep the Host stand clean and stocked with necessary items.
• Engage guests with excellent hospitality and service.
• Handle phone hospitality, make reservations and answer questions.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
