Job summary

Cleveland Botanical Garden is seeking a Guest Services Representative – Seasonal to welcome visitors, assist with admissions and memberships, support retail operations, and help guests navigate the property and engage with programs.

The role requires a friendly, customer-focused approach, flexibility to work weekends, some evenings and holidays, and proficiency with the Altru point-of-sale system along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Retail and cash handling experience.
• Experience with customer service in a similar setting.
• Must have flexible schedule; weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Ability to work with families and children.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide property orientation.
• Sell admission, membership, and merchandise at POS.
• Ensure accurate register opening/closing.
• Assist with event setup and support programs.
• Maintain store appearance and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service and address concerns.
• Collaborate with seasonal staff and volunteers.
