Job summary

ZooTampa at Lowry Park in Tampa, FL seeks a Guest Services Representative (Part-time Seasonal) to greet guests, sell admission tickets, upsell memberships, and assist with information and front gate operations.

The role requires cash handling, data entry, and clerical duties while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment; additional shifts may be required during events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing 40 wpm and alphanumeric 8,000 kph preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct guests, sell admission tickets, upsell memberships and premium experiences.
• Provide exceptional customer service per department guidelines.
• Perform guest screening at entry.
• Enforce policies with guests and employees diplomatically.
• Handle payments accurately with a cash register/computer.
• Data entry for guests in the Galaxy database and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of admissions areas.
• Follow daily activity schedules and safety guidelines.
