Job summary

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is seeking a Guest Services Representative for a seasonal role in Tampa. You will greet guests, sell admission tickets, upsell memberships, and provide information while handling payments accurately and maintaining front gate area cleanliness.

The position requires strong customer service, data entry proficiency (40 wpm), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including holidays and events. End date is January 2, 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Effective communication and ability to relate to members of all departments.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Data entry experience with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct guests at the ticket windows and information desks.
• Sell admission tickets and upsell memberships or premium experiences.
• Handle payments accurately using a cash register and Galaxy database.
• Provide information and assist with guest questions and directions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in admissions box offices and front gate areas.
• Support front plaza operations and comply with safety procedures.
