Job summary

Giants Ridge is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Lead to coordinate year-round grounds tasks and lead a team of technicians. You will supervise mowing, pruning, irrigation, and seasonal snow removal, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll operate and maintain landscape and snow tools, coordinate with the Director of Facilities, and help ensure guest-ready property throughout the year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years landscaping experience.
• Proficiency operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment including mowers, loaders, plow trucks, snow blowers, shovels, salt spreaders and irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, guide, and provide feedback to grounds staff for safety and growth.
• Plan landscaping tasks seasonally with the Director to meet goals.
• Perform mowing, trimming, pruning, planting and general maintenance.
• Lead snow removal operations including plowing and salting.
• Operate and maintain equipment; manage supplies and safety tools.
