Job summary

Giants Ridge, managed by Guest Services, is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Lead to coordinate and execute landscaping, snow removal, irrigation, and safety inspections. You will guide technicians, plan seasonal tasks with the Director of Facilities, and ensure high-quality, safe grounds year-round.

Role requires at least two years in landscaping, proficiency with mowers, plow trucks, and snow removal equipment, and a valid CDL preferred. Flexible shifts and outdoor work are common at Giants Ridge.

Qualifications

• Two years of landscaping experience required.
• Proficient with listed landscaping equipment.
• Valid driver's license; Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to travel between resort locations.
• English reading/writing required.

Responsibilities

• Train, guide, and provide feedback to grounds staff to ensure safety.
• Plan landscaping tasks seasonally with the Director of Facilities.
• Perform mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and related duties.
• Lead snow removal operations, including plowing and salting.
• Operate and maintain equipment with emphasis on safety.
• Assist with inventory management of supplies and tools.
• Communicate needs and updates to leadership.
• Ensure proper irrigation operation and watering of grounds.
• Maintain cleanliness after events and report issues.
• Document snow removal activities in logs.
