Job summary

FS Grain, LLC in Harmon, IL is seeking a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator to manage scale operations, process inbound/outbound and transfer tickets, and collaborate with settlement and operations staff. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and timely reporting.

Under the supervision of the Scale Coordinator, you will assist with invoicing, ticket corrections, and general office duties while supporting the office team.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills as well as a track record of working effectively with customers is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a positive work environment with encouraging and respectful interactions that promotes leadership and teamwork.
• Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades, and proper account selection.
• Perform duties related to customer/cash load out tickets including invoicing and reporting to settlement and operations staff.
• Provide basic customer service, answer phones when needed, and communicate elevator hours and ticket information.
• Learn and fully utilize the Scale System to generate reports and manage ticket processes from start to finish.
